Sumo's Tochi In Paris

PARIS (AP) - Tochinishiki, Japan's champion sumo wrestler, flew here Friday from Tokyo and loaded his camera for some sight-seeing.
Tochinishiki was among guests of Air France on the line's first Boeing 707 jet flight over the polar route.
The 35-year-old winner of the first sumo tournament of the year stepped from the plane wearing a black and beige kimono and sandals and with his hair in a knot. He was greeted by Bernad Pariset, a Parisian judo expert who took part in Japan's last judo championships. Pariset made it to the semifinals.
The sun was shining brightly as Tochinishiki unlimbered his camera for the 10-mile drive from Orly Airfield to downtown Paris. He checked in at a hotel along the Champs Elysees.
Tochinishiki and the rest of the passengers on the flight will remain in Paris for several days before returning to Tokyo. A television appearance has been arranged for the wrestler.
