SUMO RESULTS

    Grand Champion Kagamisato and Tsurugamine, out to protect their one-loss record in their bids for the Emperor's Cup, symbolic of the Grand Sumo Tournament title, face tough opponents Sunday as curtains are rung down on the 15-day tourney at the Kuramae Kokugikan in Tokyo.
    Kagamisato, 355 pounder faces another Grand Champion Yoshibayama, while Tsurugamine takes on Tochihikari. Should either lose, the other cops the crown. And in case both lose and Wakanohana and Shimizugawa with 12-2 marks win, it would become a four-cornered scramble.
    Kagamisato won his 13th victory by overcoming Yokozuna Tochinishiki while Tsurugamine preserved his record by beating Naruyama.
