Grand Champion Chiyonoyama sprang, a surprise Thursday by announcing from the ring the forfeiture of his day's match because of a sudden aggravation of a nerve injury of his right knee joint. The 268-pounder, undefeated in the past four bouts, was scheduled to meet Wakasegawa.
    Sekiwake-ranking Tokitsuyama fell before Tamanoumi in the upset of the day.
