Tochinishiki Wins Sumo Tournament

    Grand Champion Tochinishiki clinched the championship of the current Grand Summer Sumo Tournament as he beat another Yokozuna Kagamisato on the 14th day of the tourney Saturday.
    Up to the 14th day, he lost only one match on the 9th day. Tochinishiki will thus be officially crowned for the fifth time at the close of the tourney Sunday.
    The winners of the other awards were also announced by the sumo ranking committee as follows: "Shukusho" (achievement award) to Matsunobori and Tokitsuyama, "Kantosho" (the best effort award) to Tokitsuyama, Matsunobori, Tochihikari and Wakanoumi, "Ginosho" (award for skill) to Shinobuyama and Narutoumi.
