Yokozuna Chiyonoyama Overcomes Ouchiyama For 2nd Straight Title
-Main Spring Sumo Tourney Ends-

 Grand Champion Chiyonoyama grins widely on retaining the Emperor's Cup by winning Tournament title twice in a row.

    OSAKA, Mar. 20. - Grand Champion Chiyonoyama won the coveted Emperor's Trophy for the second consecutive time when he defeated Ouchiyama in the championship deciding bout of the final day of the
15-day Grand Spring Professional Sumo Tourney which wound up at the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium, Namba, Osaka, Sunday.
    Ouchiyama, 6 feet 7, 316 pounder, who was closely trailing the winner with a 12-2 record made the extra bout necessary as he won over Chiyonoyama in the last regular bout to tie the record.
    It was Chiyonoyama's fifth pennant victory since he joined the sumo ranks in 1942.
    Though defeated in the big card of the final day, Ouchiya-ma copped the Fine Perfor-mance Prize, while Kotogahama, 5 feet 8, 228 pounds, captured the Technical Prize with the record of 10-5.
    Wakanoumi who finished the tourney with a brilliant 11-4 record was given the Fine Fighting Prize.
