Two 'Yokozunas' Defeated In Osaka Grand Sumo Meet

    OSAKA, Mar. 7. - You never can tell what's going to happen in the Osaka Grand Sumo Meet with rumors that the Grand Champions are weak.
    The apprehension came true on Monday, the second day of the tourney, the Grand Spring Professional Tournament at the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium, Namba, when two grand Champs Yoshibayama and Kagamisato were toppled in two consecutive bouts.
    Screaming and yelling jam-packed spectators turned the gym into a mad house when, Tokitsuyama trounced Yoshibayama in a stunning first upset of the day.
    A few minutes later pot-bellied Yokozuna Kagamisato, 352 pounds, was defeated at the hands of Hajimayama in another breath-taking upset.
    As the result, Chiyonoyama is now the only undefeated Yokozuna in the current tourney.
    In another exciting bout of the day between Sekiwake rank Matsunobori, 321 pounds, and Tamanoumi, 240 pounds, the two grapplers fell on the lap of judge Matsuchiyama, seated by the ring, after a heated tussle, but the decision was given to Matsunobori with Matsuchiyama grimacing.
