Upset In Osaka Sumo Opener

    OSAKA, Mar. 6. - Highly favored Grand Champion Tochinishiki hit the dirt in a stunning upset on the first day of the 15 day Grand Spring Sumo Tournament at the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium, Namba, Sunday.
    It seemed everything would go as expected when two of the four Yokozuna wrestlers, Yoshibayama and Kagamisato easily trounced their respective opponents.
    But in the third match of the Grand Champs, an overflowing crowd of some 15,000 went on their toes as Tochinishiki was thrown out of the ring by a 24 year old fighter Futatsuryu.
    In another exciting match of the day, new Komusubi, Odachi, six-foot-four 400 pounder, was toppled by small Wakabayama who weighed 200 pound.
