The famed and popular sumo wrestler Nayoroiwa after a surprisingly long ring life of 22 years, formally retired from ring Monday as he went through the traditional "hair cutting" ceremony in which a number of sumo officials, including former sumo champs attended.
    Nayoroiwa will take the name Kasugayama after retiring.
