Yoshibayama continued to maintain his unmarred record in the New Year's Grand Sumo Tournament Thursday as he whipped Yokozuna ranking Chiyonoyama on the 12th day of the 15 day meet at the Kuramae Kokugikan at Asakusa, Tokyo.
    In other main events, once defeated Yokozuna Kagamisato downed Tochinishiki while another Grand Champion Azumafuji, in bad shape, fell victim to Mitsuneyama.
