Another Champ Goes Down

    Grand Champion Kagamisato at the moment of falling to suffer his first defeat in the current sumo tournament in Tokyo. Wakanohana at right was the victor in Wednesday's upset.
    The standings of the current Japan Professional Sumo Tournament were completely upset on Wednesday as undefeated Kagamisato, a “Yokozuna,” tasted defeat at the hands of hustling Wakanohana.
    By Wednesday evening only Yoshibayama who is seeking “Yokozuna” rank remained with an unblemished slate.
    The gigantic 360 pound Kagamisato was outfoxed by his 200 pound opponent. After coming to grips, Wakanohana suddenly stepped back and the Grand Champion was flat on his face.
    Another upset at the Kuramae Kokugikan Arena occurred when “Ozeki” Tochinishiki tripped Azumafuji, the defending champion who has been out with injuries until Wednesday.
