MAMMOTH SUMO wrestler, Chiyonoyama, gives out with a big victory smile as he poses with the hugh championship trophy he won with a 14-1 record in the 15 day summer sumo tournament which ended Sunday. Chiyonoyama was immediately and unanimously selected to the permanent rank as the 41st Grand Champion. The new Grand Champion is 25 years old, stands 6 feet, 3 in., weighs 340 pounds, and hails from Hokkaido. He boasts three tournament victories. (Asahi Shimbun).
