Grand sumo champion Terukuni, captain of the East Group, won the Emperor's Trophy Sunday, the final day of the 15-day spring tournament at the Kokugikan arena as he achieved 15 straight victories. Terukuni, 32,  5 feet 8 inches and weighing 352 pounds, was the only wrestler to make such a good showing during the tournament. (Kyodo)
