The 15 day Spring Sumo Tournament, one of the most successful in postwar years, will come to end Sunday with a star-studded ceremony marking matches between the top-ranking sumo wrestlers. Grand Champion Terukuni, heavy favorite to gain the tournament title, will clash with Grand Champion Azumafuji, while Grand Champion Haguroyama will take on Champion Chiyonoyama, in the final bouts.
