Sumo Tussle Announced
The annual summer wrestling tournament of the Japan
Sumo Association will start May 15 at the temporary Kokugikan (National
Sports Hall) in Hamacho Park, Nihombashi, lasting 15 days, it was announced
by the association yesterday.
The list of wrestlers participating in the contests
will be published on May 7. The daily sessions are expected to start at
11 a.m. and end at 5 p.m.
This is the first time in five years that a 15 day
regular tournament of the association will be held.
