Giant Sumo Wrestlers To Meet Sports Writers In Baseball Game Jan. 21

With attention centered on whether hefty sumo wrestlers will be able to display the same mighty power in baseball, the Japan Professional Sumo Association IX will cross bats with the Kansai Sports Writers' Club team in an open baseball game at the spacious Nishinomiya stadium between Osaka and Kobe January 21 at 1 p.m.
The wrestlers' baseball team includes Maedayama, new "yokozuna," and Kamikaze, "sekiwake," both known as baseball lovers in professional sumodom.
The sports writers' squad will be represented by Yoshio Yuasa, former ace moundsman of Meiji University, and other ex-baseballers of the Tokyo "Big Six" Loop.
