Grand Champions Terukuni, Maedayama and Haguroyama continued their winning ways on the second day of the autumn sumo wrestling tournament. Despite their efforts to put down a fire which razed a part of the sumo training quarters in Ryogoku, the wrestlers were in fine fettle. Champions Saganohana, Shionoumi and Nayoroiwa were treated rough and beaten by Sakuranishiki, Terunobori and Chiyonoyama respectively.
