NAKAMOZU, Osaka, Oct. 11 - Participated in by the 192 grapplers from 48 schools, the 25th National Secondary School Sumo Tourney was opened at the local sumo ring today under the joint auspices of the Mainichi Press and the Japan Sumo League.
    Following an opening ceremony, contest was started with the inter-team match between Fukuoka Middle (Iwate) and Kanazawa Middle (Ishikawa).
    On the first day of the two day competition, matches were staged in the first and second rounds of both the inter-team and individual competitions.
