Kansai Sumo Test Opens At N'miya

NISHINOMIYA, Mar. 22 - The Kansai tourney of the
Japan Professional Sumo Association - the third main tournament in the
Kansai district since the surrender - raised its curtain for the 11 day
series at the specially constructed ring here this morning, two days later
then schedule.
Although the general seats save for the seats were
offered as the uniform admission of ¥10, only 60 percent of the entire
seats were filled.
Included among the spectators were some GI's, who
earnestly watched the hotly contested matches.
