7th Day Sumo Unlucky For Ozekis

    It was a jinx day for the "ozeki" grapples as Azumafuji and Saganohana suffered their second defeat at the hands of Kashiwado and Chiyonoyama respectively, on the seventh day of the autumn main sumo tourney, November 12, at the Memorial Hall, Tokyo.
    By outpointing the West aggregation 12 to 9 on this day, the east team further increased its lead to eight points, the total score being 81 to 73.

The results of the other main bouts on the seventh day were:
Futamiyama won by default Bishuzan
Masuiyama pushed out Kozuzan
Terunobori pushed out Shionoumi
Kamikaze thrust out Sagamigawa
Maedayama pushed out Onoumi
Itsutsuumi toppled Fudoiwa
Haguroyama derricked out Kashimanada
Nayoroiwa derricked out Onomori
