Saganohana Loses

East Team Still Leads In Tokyo Sumo Classic

    Saganohana, "ozeki" of the West team, tasted his first defeat on the sixth day of the autumn main sumo tourney, November 11, at the Memorial Hall, Tokyo, when he was scooped down by Shionoumi, tricky "sekiwake" of the east team.
    Terukuni, "yokozuna" and captain of the East team, who has already suffered two black marks was absent from the ring on this day due to injuries suffered on the second day.
    In the inter team competition East team increased its lead to five points, the total score being 69 to 64. The results of the other main bouts on the sixth day were:
