Terunobori Still Strong; Chiyonoyama New Victim

    Terunobori, "maegashira" of the West team, who defeated Terukuni, "yokozuna" and Azumafuji, "ozeki," on the second and third days respectively, again shone by pushing out Chiyonoyama, "maegashira," who is regarded as one of the most promising candidates for the individual title, on the fourth day of day of the autumn main sumo tourney of the Dai Nippon Sumo Association, November 9, at the Memorial Hall, Tokyo.
    By outpointing the West team 12 to 11 on this day, the East squad narrowed the West's lead in the interteam competition to three points, 46 to 43.

The results of the main bouts on the fourth day were:
