Powerful Terunobori Downs Azumafuji Also
Azumafuji "ozeki" was stretched out by Terunobori
(who earlier toppled Terukuni, "yokozuna" and captain of the East team)
on the third day of the 13 day main sumo tourney of the Dai Nippon Sumo
Association, November 8, at the Memorial Hall, Tokyo.
The West team still outpointed the East squad 12
to 10 in the inter-team competition, the total score being 35 to 31 in
favor of the former.
