Tricky Terunobori Topples Terukuni

    Terukuni, "yokozuna" and captain of the East team, was toppled by Terunobori, tricky grappler, in the last bout on the second day of the 13 day main sumo tourney of the Dai Nippon Sumo Association, November 7, at the Memorial Hall, Tokyo.
   On that day, the West team outpointed the East squad 12 to 10 in the inter team competition, the total score being 23 to 21 in favor of the former.

The results of the leading matches on the second day were:

Sagamigawa toppled Fudoiwa
Shionoumi pushed out Kuganishiki
Azumafuji thrust out Midorishima
Maedayama toppled Kashiwado
Saganohana derricked out Itsutsushima
Nayoroiwa scooped down Kashimanada
Haguroyama thrust out Ohnoumi
Terunobori toppled Terukuni
