Eight representative teams from the Kansai district that will participate in the coming 24th national intercollegiate sumo meet on September 22 and 23 at the Nakamozu sumo ring, have been chosen by the Western Japan Student Sumo League.
    They are Doshisha University, Ritsumeikan University, Doshisha Economic College, Kansai Gakuin University, Kansai University, Osaka College, Nara Medical College and Osaka 1st Normal School.
