   With the Osaka main sumo tourney reaching its climax, Kotonishiki, "maegashira" of the west team, toppled Sagamigawa, "komusubi" of the East team or the tallest wrestler in the senior camp, on the ninth day of the series, June 23, at the Kokugikan, thereby maintaining his winning streak since the opening day.
