KYOTO, Apr. 13 - By winning nine out of 10 scheduled matches, Haguroyama, "yokozuna" and captain of the West team won the individual title in the Kyoto tourney of the Japan Professional Sumo Association which ended here today after a 10 day series.
    On the last day, Haguroyama defeated Akinoumi in an all-"yokozuna" bout. His only defeat was suffered at the hands of Azumafuji, "ozeki" on the eighth day.
    Terukuni, "yokozuna" and vice captain of the East team, also finished his scheduled matches with nine wins and only one defeat. But the championship was taken by Haguroyama as he is ranked higher than Terukuni.
