Haguroyama Beaten In Kyoto Sumo Tourney

    KYOTO, Apr. 10 - With the Kyoto tourney of the Japan Professional Sumo Association reaching its climax, Haguroyama, "yokozuna" or captain of the West team, who is regarded as the most promising candidate for the individual title, sustained his first defeat at the hands of Azumafuji, "ozeki," today on the eighth day of the 10 day series.
    As a result of the defeat of Haguroyama, Terukuni, "yokozuna" or vice-captain of the East team, became the only wrestler to hold an undefeated record since the opening day. On the same day, Terukuni defeated Fudoiwa.
    The main sumo tourney has been going on since April 1 at the open air ring specially constructed at Aburakoji Gojo, Chukyo-ku, here.
