the construction of a sumo ring at the Korakuen baseball stadium, Koishikawa,
Tokyo.
The work is expected to be completed by about May

This will be the first time in 36 years, or to be
precise, since 1909, that a main sumo tourney will be held at an outdoor
ring instead of the Kokugikan.
