Only Undefeated Grappler Bows On 10th Day

Sobuyama, the only undefeated grappler, was finally downed, losing to Tatsutano on the 10th day of the current main sumo tourney, January 18, at the Kokugikan, Ryogoku, Tokyo, as a result of which no wrestler now holds an unmarred record in either the senior or junior camps.
Futasegawa, "sekiwake," and Ayanobori, "maegashira," both of the East team, were absent from the ring on that day due to foot injuries.
