'Tear' Again Bows

Tamanoumi Beats 'Yokozuna' On 4th Day

    Terukuni, "yokozuna" of the East team, was again toppled by Tamanoumi, veteran "maegashira", while Maedayama, "ozeki" of the West team, tasted his third defeat at the hands of Wakasegawa, "maegashira", on the fourth day of the spring main sumo tourney, January 12, at the Kokugikan, Tokyo.
    Outpointing the East team 12 to 10 on that day, the West team widened its lead  to 13 points, the total score being 53 points to 40.
