Akinoumi Is Defeated By Kashiwado

    One of the two "yokozuna" grapplers who had maintained an unmarred record was clipped off the list of undefeated wrestlers when Akinoumi, "yokozuna" of the West team was defeated by Kashiwado on the seventh day of the Osaka sumo tourney, November 17, at the specially constructed Kokugikan.
    By outpointing the West team 15 to 6 on that day, the East team increased its lead to 27 points, total score since the first day being 85 points to 58.
