Terukuni Defeated By Tamanoumi

    Terukuni, "yokozuna" and vice captain of the West team, tasted his first defeat in the hands of Tamanoumi on the sixth day of the Osaka sumo tourney, November 16, at the specially constructed Kokugikan.
    On that day, the East team outpointed the West team 12 to 8 to widen its lead in the senior inter-team series.
    Admiral Isamu Takeshita, president of the Dai Nippon Sumo Association, visiting the specially constructed Kokugikan in the morning of the same day, earnestly witnessed the sumo matches.
