Osaka Sumo Tourney
All Of 4 'Yokozuna' Win On 1st Day
The Osaka tourney of the Dai Nippon Sumo Association
opened on November 11 at the specially constructed Kokugikan at Abenobashi.
All four "yokozuna" grapplers and the two "ozeki"
wrestlers won their respective matches with ease. The East team outpointed
the West team 11 to 8 in the senior inter-team competition.

The spring main tourney of the Dai Nippon Sumo Association
will open on January 9, next year, at the Kokugikan at Ryogoku, Tokyo,
lasting for 15 days.
The new rankings of wrestlers on the roster of the
association for the forthcoming main tourney will be announced on January
4 at 5 a.m.
