Participated in by all the wrestlers on the roster of the Dai Nippon Sumo Association including four "yokozuna" grapplers, namely Futabayama, Haguroyama, Terukuni and Akinoumi, the Osaka tourney of the association will open on November 11 lasting for 13 days at the specially constructed Kokugikan in front of Abenobashi station on the former Daitetsu line.
    Prior to the opening of the sumo tourney, the time honored ring ceremony was solemnly held on November 10 at 10 a.m. at the Kokugikan, with Shonosuke Kimura, sumo referee, officiating.
