Sets All-Time Record
The smiling stalwart with the giant handsome trophy
is Grand Champion Futabayama who this week won the championship of the
sumo tournament at the Kokugikan amphitheater for the twelfth time, breaking
the all-time record of eleven championships by Tachiyama. He won 15 bouts
to go undefeated, the only wrestler to do so, through the 15-day tourney.
