West Outpoints East On 3rd Day Of Sumo

    Maedayama and Nayoroiwa, both "ozeki" of the East camp, were defeated by Ayanobori and Bishuzan, respectively, on the third day of the summer main sumo tourney, May 11, at the Kokugikan, Tokyo.
    Coming back strong, the West team outpointed the East team 13 to 10 on that day, but the latter still leads in the senior inter-team series by 39 to 30.
