Street Heralds
The long-awaited 15-day summer sumo tournament
at the Kokugikan has started today. Yesterday, street-heralds like those
shown in the picture above, went round the city, attracting the attention
of all with their drum-beats, to announce to all interested that the tournament
would start on the morrow.
