Sagamigawa Takes Measure Of Grand Champion

    Futabayama, "yokozuna," suffered his second defeat at the hands of Sagamigawa on the eighth day of the Osaka tourney of the Dai Nippon Sumo Association, April 12, at the specially constructed Kokugikan in the Fukushima park.
    On the eighth day, the East and West teams tied 11 to 11, but the East squad leads the senior inter team series with a total score of 90 to 84.

The results of the other leading matches on the eighth day were:

Maedayama defeated Kiyomigawa
Toyoshima defeated Nayoroiwa
Terukuni defeated Saganohana
Akinoumi defeated Futasegawa
Haguroyama defeated Dewaminato

Akinoumi Toppled

    Akinoumi, "yokozuna," was again toppled by Kashiwado on the seventh day of the Osaka sumo tourney, April 11.
