TOKYO WORKERS SEE SUMO

Invited to Kokugikan Amphitheater By Wrestling Association.

    In order to furnish entertainment to the industrial workers in the Tokyo district, who are striving for increased production under war time conditions, the Japan Wrestling Association, on Sunday invited more than 20,000 industrial workers and their family members to the Sumo tournament held at the Kokugikan Amphitheater, according to Domiei.
    The tournament commenced at 8 am with the participation of three Grand Champions Futabayama, Haguroyama and Terukuni together with 500 other wrestlers.
