Drawing select participants from all Japan, the 5th National Students Sumo Tourney will be held for two days, September 23 and 24 at the sumo ring in the outer garden of the Meiji Shrine Compound.
    Approved by the Physical Training Department of the Education Ministry, and with the support of Army and Navy, this year's meet is expected to surpass all previous meets in magnitude and hard competition.
    Youths from 48 different sections of the nations, who have undergone weeks of strenuous training, will compete in the tourney.
