Tojo and Kaya Enjoy Sumo Bouts at Ryogoku
Premier General Hideki Tojo, who is concurrently War
Minister, has manifold duties to attend to with the nation prosecuting
the War of Greater East Asia, but he took time out last Sunday afternoon
to see the Sumo bouts on the opening day of the 15-day summer tournament
at the Ryogoku bowl. Photo shows the Premier in mufti in foreground with
his two daughters, Kimie, 11 and Sachie, 14. To the left of the Premier
is Finance Minister Okinori Kaya, an ardent Sumo fan.
