The 13 day Osaka tourney of the Dai Nippon Professional Sumo Association at the specially constructed ring west of Sumiyoshi park will be concluded on April 10.
    On the final day, Futabayama will grapple with Minanogawa while Haguroyama will meet Maedayama. In other leading bouts, Akinoumi will encounter Terukuni, Tamanoumi will face Dewaminato, and Nayoroiwa will take on Kasagiyama.

    With the approval of the Welfare Office, the Osaka Mainichi's first inter-factory youth's sumo tourney dedicated to Kashihara Shrine will be held on Sunday, April 12, at 8.30 a.m., at the sumo ring in the outer garden of the shrine.
    Participated in by 21 factories in the inter-team competition and 104 youths in the individual contest, the tourney is supported by the All-Nippon Factory Sumo League and the Dai Nippon Patriotic Industrial Society.
