Hairline Decision Called For

When Matsuuragata and Ayanobori, two topnotch wrestlers struggled it out on the Kokugikan ring Monday, it took the referee and the judges considerable time to decide on the winner. The referee saw Matsuuragata's hand touch the sand an instant before the giant body of Ayanobori hit the sand and gave the bout to the latter but the judges differed in opinion. The decision was finally reversed and Matsuuragata won the nod, adding another win for the West Camp.
