Wrestlers Association Pays Respects
Members of the Reservists' Association of Sumo Wrestlers,
which has a membership of 165 and which was organized on Wednesday, yesterday
paid their respects to the Throne from the Imperial Palace plaza and afterward
marched to the Yasukuni Shrine.

Mr. Shizuo Iwakabe, a 27-year old Sumo champion popularly
known as Nayoroiwa, was united in a marriage with Miss Ayako Yamada at
the Nihonbashi Club at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Miss Yamada is the
19-year old daughter of Mr. Ikuo Yamada of the Shochiku Amusement Company.
She is a graduate of the Jissen Girl's High School and an expert on Japanese
dancing.
