Wrestlers Form Reservists' Association
Among the huskiest group of ex-soldiers is the chapter
formed yesterday morning among young sumo wrestlers at the headquarters
of the Japan Sumo Wrestling Association. The new unit has a total of 165
members. Guests at the function included Major-General Shinichi Yanagawa.
Members of the new organization include Grand Champion Minanogawa, champion
Terukuni and a number of other high-ranking grunt and groan performers.
Kyushuzan, who returned from active service at the front last year, heads
the new reservists' organization.

War Department Announces 75 Athletes Will Cheer Up
Forces at Front
The War Office has arranged for a visit of professional
wrestlers to South China to hold tournaments for the entertainment of soldiers
in the firing lines.
The wrestler who will go number 75, including popular
artists as Kasagiyama, Kaneminato, Kashimanada, Banjaku and Sakuranishiki.
The party will leave on March 5 immediately after
the close of tournament of the Japan Professional Wrestler's Association
in Nagoya.
This is the first visit of wrestlers to comfort
soldiers at the front.
