East Team Is Leading West; Score, 86 to 76

    Nayoroiwa "komusubi", one of the powerful trio of the Tatsunami Club and on the West team, who maintained an unmarred record until the sixth day, suffered his first defeat at the hands of Kasagiyama of the East team on the seventh day of the "spring" main sumo tourney at the Kokugikan, Ryogoku, Tokyo, on January 16.
    Adding four more points on the seventh day, the East team  led 10 points, 86 to 76, at the end of that day.
    Futabayama, "yokozuna", and Haguroyama, "ozeki", both of the Tatsunami Club and on the West team, continued their undefeated records by defeating their respective rivals on the seventh day.
