Minano's 2nd Fall

    Minanogawa, "yokozuna", was again defeated on the fourth day of the "spring" main sumo tourney at the Kokugikan, Tokyo, on January 13, being toppled by Komatsuyama.
    Futabayama, "yokozuna" Haguroyama, "ozeki", and Nayoroiwa, "komusubi", the powerful trio of the Tatsunami club and on the West team, defeated their respective opponents, maintaining unmarred records since the opening day.
 Akinoumi, "ozeki", hope of the West team, also continued to win.

 The results of the leading matches of the fourth day were:

Minanogawa Topples

    Minanogawa, "yokozuna" and captain of the East team, went down in defeat before Sadogashima in a big upset ont he third day of the spring main sumo tourney at the Kokugikan, Tokyo, on January 12.
    Maedayama, "ozeki", also also of the East team, was toppled by Matsuuragata.
    Adding four more points on the third day, the West team led 15 points, 42 to 27, in the senior inter-team matches at the end of that day.
