FUTABAYAMA LOSES AGAIN
Third Defeat of Season For Grand Champion; West Side
Leading
Grand Champion Futabayama of the East camp, was beaten
by Hishuzan, "maegashira" or the fifth ranking wrestler of the West Camp,
in the current. sumo championship tournament on Saturday evening at the
Kokugikan bowl. This is his third defeat this season.
A series of hand pushes was first resorted to by
both Futabayama and Hishuzan, followed by Futabayama's try at his favorite
body throw which seemed almost successful. But when the grand champion
pushed his opponent close to the edge of the ring mainly on the strength
of the champion's belly, things turned suddenly worse against Futabayama,

arms.
