FUTABAYAMA LOSES AGAIN
Third Defeat of Season For Grand Champion; West Side Leading

    Grand Champion Futabayama of the East camp, was beaten by Hishuzan, "maegashira" or the fifth ranking wrestler of the West Camp, in the current. sumo championship tournament on Saturday evening at the Kokugikan bowl. This is his third defeat this season.
    A series of hand pushes was first resorted to by both Futabayama and Hishuzan, followed by Futabayama's try at his favorite body throw which seemed almost successful. But when the grand champion pushed his opponent close to the edge of the ring mainly on the strength of the champion's belly, things turned suddenly worse against Futabayama, who was thrown outside the ring with fierce might gathered in Hishuzan's arms.
    Another Grand Champion Minanogawa defeated Terukuni, "Sekiwake" or third ranking sumo of the East side. At the end of Saturday's bouts, the West camp leads the East in the number of victories for the first grade wrestlers by 133 to 98.
