Peering At Man-Mountains
More than 2,500 pupils of the Midoricho Primary School,
Fukagawa Ward, were favored with special seats at the sumo wrestling matches
on the opening day yesterday of the summer tournament and eagerly followed
the contests through opera glasses. Other spectators in the fourth floor
balcony obtained seats only after waiting outside all night, and most of
them spent many hours in sleep before the second-grade wrestlers began
to appear.
