 Young Wakamatsu Boy Of Extraordinary Size Is Futabayama Protégé

    A future grand-champion sumo wrestler is seen in Rikio Minematsu, 16-year-old primary-school boy of Wakamatsu, Fukuoka Prefecture. Minematsu is already five feet, eight inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He will become a protégé of Grand Champion Futabayama after graduating from school. Minematsu is captain of his school's sumo team and has never been beaten in competition. Only recently he came under the notice of Futabayama, who decided that he has distinct possibilities as a professional sumo wrestler.
